Monthly marketing plans

Plan Monthly fee Scope in brief Fit for a boiler division
Starter $2,998/month SEO-built website pages, Google Business Profile work and local SEO, entry-level Google and Meta ad setup, hosting, maintenance, a monthly report One market, existing name or sub-brand
Growth $4,498/month Starter's scope, then deeper SEO and content, paid ads on several channels, retargeting, a CRM connection, review generation, reports every week A separate brand earning reviews from zero
Elite $8,998/month Growth's scope, then video, PR outreach, a named account manager, a live dashboard, a strategy call each month, reporting built to order Several cities launched together

For most new boiler divisions, Starter or Growth is the realistic range. Starter covers the essentials a division needs to exist online and be found. Growth adds review generation and CRM integration, both of which matter for a division that has to earn reviews from zero and keep boiler leads separate from the rest of the company. Elite fits larger companies launching a division across several cities at once.

Website packages

Package Build fee Monthly after launch Pages and build time
Essential $3,500 $149 for hosting and upkeep A custom site of 5 to 7 pages, built in about two to three weeks
Professional $6,500 $249 for hosting, upkeep and conversion work 10 to 15 pages focused on conversion, built in roughly three to four weeks
Enterprise $12,500 $449 for full management No cap on pages or locations, built in four to six weeks

A sub-brand that lives inside your main site may only need Essential-sized work. A separate brand usually needs Professional, because ten to fifteen pages is roughly what it takes to cover boiler system types, repair-or-replace, maintenance and a few service areas. See the division website service.

What drives the cost of a division launch

The biggest cost driver is the brand decision. Here's how it plays out:

  • Existing name: the lowest cost. Mostly new pages, profile updates and campaigns.
  • Sub-brand: moderate. A distinct section or microsite, profile rework and new tracking.
  • Separate brand: the highest. A new domain, a new website, a new profile with no reviews, and more paid search at first while organic visibility builds.

Other drivers:

  • Number of markets. Each city or region with its own pages and campaigns adds work.
  • Ad spend. Competitive markets such as the GTA or Metro Vancouver cost more per click.
  • Content depth. Covering several fuels, commercial work and parts takes more pages.
  • Language. A Quebec division built in French, or a bilingual New Brunswick site, adds translation and review.

The division strategy service settles these questions before you commit to a plan.

A budget check you can do yourself

Here's a way to sanity-check any marketing budget, using illustrative figures you should replace with your own. Suppose a typical boiler job leaves $1,400 in gross profit, and you're willing to spend up to a third of that, about $467, to win one. A plan at $2,998/month plus ad spend therefore needs to produce a certain number of completed jobs each month to clear that bar. If the division can't realistically win that many, start smaller, or fix capacity and pricing first. The P&L guide shows the full calculation.

How to choose

  1. Decide the brand structure first. It sets the website package.
  2. Match the plan to the markets. One city usually fits Starter or Growth.
  3. Plan for twelve months. A division needs at least one heating season to be judged fairly.
  4. Track from day one. Without the division P&L, no plan can be evaluated.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a contract?

There's no lock-in. You can start with a 7-day free trial, which needs no credit card. The terms of any plan, including notice periods and ownership, are confirmed in writing in your proposal.

Is ad spend included in the monthly plan?

The plans cover our work: website, local SEO, ads setup and management, reporting and the other items listed. How ad spend is budgeted and billed is set out in writing in your proposal, so you know exactly what goes to Google or Meta and what comes to us.

How much should a new boiler division spend on marketing?

Work backward from gross profit per job. If a typical boiler job leaves you a known amount of gross profit, decide how much of that you're willing to spend to win it, then multiply by the jobs you need. The P&L guide walks through the arithmetic with illustrative figures.

Do prices include sales tax?

No. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and boiler divisions add their province's GST or HST, or GST and QST in Quebec.

Can we buy strategy only, without a monthly plan?

Yes. Division strategy, readiness planning and P&L setup can be scoped as standalone work and are quoted in writing before anything starts.
